It is true...our house is against us and it will stop at nothing to get us to leave. I know this sounds crazy, but we have been here about one year and so far we have had to get a new hot water heater, put in a water softening system, remove a shit ton of sweetgum trees so that we can actually use our backyard (still not using backyard due to drainage issues), dealt with two floods caused by backed up drains, had to empty the septic tank already (its been less than 2 years), and we now have a lovely fruit fly/fungus gnat problem that we can't seem to figure out. I know some of these issues we did not absolutely have to remedy, but still this is ridiculous. And there are more things to add to the list, but most are just normal home owner things.
I honestly think we need to go. This is of course not an option right now for various reasons, one of which is we would need to pay back the tax credit we received when we bought our evil house. I swear we got duped, man. We have been sick more and both my skin and hair are in terrible shape because of the water, even with the softening system. Totally weird and very annoying.
I'm tellin'g ya people, I am tired of this. This house was supposed to be our sanctuary, but it is nothing but trouble.
